Payments are processed securely through Stripe. When you book a spot, your card is charged immediately for instant bookings or upon host approval for request-based listings. Hosts receive payouts within 2-3 business days after the reservation starts.
Cancellation policies vary by listing. Flexible listings offer a full refund up to 24 hours before check-in. Moderate policies allow a 50% refund up to 5 days before. Strict policies offer a 50% refund up to 7 days before. The cancellation policy is always shown before you book.
PRKD does not provide vehicle insurance. We recommend renters maintain their own vehicle insurance policy and that hosts verify their property insurance covers third-party vehicle storage.
You can list any legal parking space — driveways, garages, open lots, covered parking, marina slips, dock spaces, airplane hangars, tiedown spots, and more. All listings are reviewed to ensure they meet our safety and accessibility standards.
All hosts go through an identity verification process that includes ID verification, phone number confirmation, and address validation. We also review property documentation for commercial spaces. Hosts with verified status have passed enhanced background checks.
